Our Story

Save Valpo exists because our city leaders no longer reflect the people they serve. A Republican mayor and a Democratic city council are more concerned with political turf wars instead of prioritizing local needs, have left everyday Valparaiso families without a real voice.

We started as a grassroots effort fighting an aggressive annexation that ignored 500 nearby residents — and revealed how disconnected city leadership has become from modern family priorities.

That moment revealed a deeper problem: Valparaiso’s leadership no longer reflects the will or needs of its citizens. 

Meanwhile, working parents, young professionals, our senior community and longtime residents alike — are being left behind. Their priorities are simple and universal: safe neighborhoods, honest government, clean water, responsible growth, and a community that listens. 

Our mission is simple: build Valparaiso Indiana's largest citizen feedback system so the future of our community is shaped by its people — not politics.
